I will go down with this ship. And I won’t put my hands up and surrender. There will be no white flag above my door.

I’m in love. And always will be.

Mind May Wander

  • "We need never be hopeless because we can never be irreparably broken" - John Green

Someone I admire once said, “Maybe our favorite quotations say more about us than about the stories and people we're quoting.” I think this is true. When we come away after reading a book, listening to a story, or watching a program with a quote, it says far more about us then where we got it from. It shows others what we find interesting and what we find funny. It shows people what kind of mood we were in and what kind of mood we ARE in. Its a way we can share how we feel without personally trying to articulate our thoughts.

Our favorite quotes, be they profound/funny/serious/intellectual/spiritual or even nonsensical, can be drawn upon when we need them most.

And so, rather then writing some small drabble about myself, I ask you: whats your favorite quote and why? Think about it. Question it. And by all means share it, because perhaps it will explain you far better then you could ever explain yourself.

*Both above quotes are by John Green, Vlogger and Author
